Ryan Duthie

Ryan attained his Part III qualification in 2016 having gained a Dip Arch from the University of Edinburgh and undergraduate degree from The Edinburgh College of Art.  Starting in 2013, he completed his studies while working at David Blaikie Architects, with previous experience working for Rochmankowski Associates.

During his time with David Blaikie Architects, Ryan has been involved in a number of successful projects and played a key role as project architect on completed projects including Gardiner Terrace, India Street and Moray Place.

Ryan is an avid golfer and an active member of his local club, where he plays off a single figure handicap.  He spends many a weekend tirelessly seeking to improve his game, often to no avail, but enjoys the sport at his leisure.  Away from the course, Ryan takes interest in walking, photography and socialising with friends.

A burning desire to experience new places and cultures has taken Ryan around the world to a number of interesting places.  Despite this passion for travel, Ryan has always lived in Edinburgh, currently living with long term partner and their young family: a mischievous cat and a border collie puppy.
